In this lecture Graham will explore the multiple ways in which we live simultaneously with the visible, or what we can perceive through our senses, and the invisible. The invisible pertains to any number of ordinary realms – the sensory, the operations of the mind, the phenomenal world, and the cosmological. It also pertains to the realms of religious faith. We continually negotiate and experience these overlapping traversals between the visible and the invisible through the imagination and with respect to what we believe to be the case. He will examine what this activity tells us about ourselves.
